The Levofloxacin Levaquin is just similar to all types of
antibiotics and it is also having similar side effects that all
other fluoroquinolone antibiotics have. There are numerous
documented cases of spontaneous tendon rupture is available in the
medical field which are caused due to the regular usage or over
dosage of fluoroquinolones. The side effects of Levofloxacin
Levaquin may happen after discontinuing the therapy for a long
period.
Another major side effects caused by the over usage of Levofloxacin
Levaquin are severe pain and swelling in as little as two days. Such

“quinolone induced tendonopathy”. Another important side effect

Peripheral Neuropathy, Increased QT prolongation, Torsades de

insomnia, anxiety attacks, nightmares, paranoia and severe
nervousness.
Toxic Pyschosis has also been reported as one of the side effects
caused by the over usage of Levofloxacin Levaquin.
Over usage or over dosage of Levofloxacin Levaquin may result in
life threatening disturbances of blood glucose, including
hypoglycemia and symptomatic hyper. The use of Levofloxacin Levaquin
has serious adverse effect in nursing infants and therefore this
drug should not be taken while nursing. Elevation of serum
triglycerides, blood glucose, urinary retention, serum potassium and
cholesterol are certain side effects caused by the over usage of
Levofloxacin Levaquin affecting metabolic and nutritional system in
human body.
